Fabulous Syrah from a fabulous year! This Syrah is big yet fruity, with notes of dark plum and smoke. Native yeast and natural malolactic fermentation; aged 20 months in new and neutral French Oak barrels. Unfiltered and unfined.

We sourced the fruit from LIVE-certified and "Salmon Safe" Steelhead Run Vineyard in the Applegate Valley of southern Oregon.

Production Notes Destemmed to bins on harvest day. Pressed at two bar after three weeks of native yeast fermentation in cool winery conditions, then racked to 2/3 neutral Oak barrels and 1/3 new French Oak barrels. Fermentation completed in barrels then aged for 21 months.
Winemaker Notes Native yeast fermentation and native malolactic fermentation. No fining or filtering.
Food Pairing Notes Pairs well with game, grilled meats and spicy pizza.
